PCDJ Highlights of 2012: The Ultimate DJ Journey Recap

DJ Software and Karaoke Software, our year in review…

Despite the notable economic struggles globally, 2012 was quite the year for PCDJ. New updates to our flagship DJ software PCDJ DEX 2 included next gen and future forward features geared specifically for the “next big thing” in DJ entertainment technology: mixing music videos seamlessly, just like audio. With video transitions, video effects and new native maps to top DJ controllers on the market PCDJ saw record sales and interest. It’s no secret our PCDJ customers want a true all-in- one entertainment software solution, and we feel we’ve hit the nail on the head with PCDJ DEX 2.

PCDJ Karaoki also received its fair share of development attention. Not only were free updates plentiful and often for Karaoki users, with the help of Digitrax Entertainm ent we introduced the world’s first and only in-app karaoke music subscription, Karaoke Cloud Pro. This allows KJ’s access to tens of thousands of downloadable karaoke tracks, accessible directly in the PCDJ Karaoki library for a monthly fee. This is a commercial solution, so completely legal for professional KJ’s to use in commercial spaces like bars and nightclubs.

We plan to hit the ground running in 2013. In fact, we should release a couple notable updates to both DEX 2 and Karaoki shortly. DEX 2 customers are been adamant about a karaoke singers list for karaoke…well, they’ll get their wish early 2013! Karaoki is also receiving a “singers list” makeover, that should satisfy the requirements of the most savvy karaoke hosts. Online playlist lookup and sharing for patrons is also on our “to-do” list this year.

We’re really fired up about 2013, and it’s our promise to not disapoint with our DJ software and karaoke software platforms. Our intention for the last 13 years has been to be your on-stop shop for all things digital dj and entertainment, with customer service being paramount.
